Auto Truck Group’s Louisville Service Center to Relocate to New Facility in 2016

Bartlett, IL (December 10, 2015) -- Auto Truck Group, a work truck upfitter specializing in the design, manufacture and installation of equipment, today announced that the company’s Louisville location will move to a new facility during the first quarter of 2016. Located at 30 Kingbrook Parkway in Simpsonville, the new service center will further enhance Auto Truck Group’s manufacturing capabilities and production volume.
“During the last several years, our company has experienced tremendous growth and we believe this new facility will help Auto Truck Group sustain and build upon this growth for many years to come,” said Jim Dondlinger, president, Auto Truck Group. “The additional capacity along with some new functionality will be invaluable to Auto Truck Group as we strive to provide our clients with industry-leading services and support.”

The new facility will feature nearly 80,000 square feet of production space, more than double the current location, and will also include new paint and spray-on bed liner booths along with 15 acres of storage. Auto Truck Group’s Louisville service center employs approximately 60 individuals and offers ship-through capabilities for Ford’s F-Series Super Duty, E-Series, Escape and Expedition models along with a pool of Ford F-Series Duty trucks.

“To have a rapidly expanding company like Auto Truck Group become a part of our community is exciting,” said Steve Eden, Mayor of Simpsonville. “I look forward to a long and productive relationship with our newest industrial partner.”

Auto Truck Group plans to complete the transition to the new facility during the first quarter of 2016 and does not anticipate any disruption to its production schedule. The company’s current location at 407 North English Station Road in Louisville has been sold to an undisclosed buyer.
